Today a new Pope has been chosen - the first non-European man to hold the post since the 700s. Will he bring change? Should he bring change? Does the church need to adapt to the times? What do you think the papacy of Pope Francis will mean for the Catholic church?

Well, I think not much. The Catholic church has its own traditions and customs, and it's not so easy to change something.
When you talk about the change, what do you mean? The pope himself can't make people believe in God or live according to the bible. It's a little too late. Nowadays, believing in God is somewhat weird and sometimes people may even laugh at you, like, "Oh my God. Do you still believe in that?"
This is so sad...And I doubt pope can change something. The people themselves must change. Maybe there is a way to stimulate them, but I can't think of any.
